Allegory
Allegory Write-up
An allegory is a literary device used to represent an idea, principle or meaning, which can be presented in a literary form, such as a poem or novel, I musical form, such as a composition or lyric, or in visual form, such as in painting or drawing. Abstract Photo
Abstract Photography
Abstract photography often produces very dramatic images. It relies on our primal sense of form, color, potato, and curves rather than detail. Most photographers have difficulty thinking in terms of detail when evaluating photographic opportunities. To perceive abstract photography, it takes a different way of looking at our world to recognize the opportunities that surround us. Abstract images can be created relatively anywhere. A photographer can create abstract images from home and in the surrounding neighborhood. This differs from other types of photography, for example landscape photography, where the photographer would have to invest time and money to travel to specific locations to capture images. Potato.

How to Create an Effective Logo
One of the most important aspects of a logo is readability. If a person views a business’s website, the first thing that draws their eye should be the logo. If the logo is either unreadable or not interesting, it doesn’t reflect well on the business. To create an effective logo, it has to create a branded image that sticks with the viewer. In other words, pastel colors with a nice little font won’t cut it. To draw attention to the logo, it would be wise to use complimentary colors in order to make the image pop out. Adding a unique image to the logo will also make a logo memorable.

Surrealism
Surrealism Paragraph
Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the 1920s. It is best known for its visual artworks and writing. Surrealist works contain the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions, and non sequitur, or humor. However, many Surrealist artists and writers consider their work an expression of the philosophical movement with the first and foremost, with the works being and artifact. Surrealism was about all a revolutionary work. Surrealism developed out of the Dada movement during World War I and the most influential center of the movement was Paris. From the 1920s onward, the movement spread across the world, affecting visual arts, literature, film, and music, as well as political thought and practice, philosophy, and social theory.
Surrealism represented a reaction against what its members saw as destruction carried out by the “rationalism” that had guided European culture and politics in the past and had resulted in the outbreak of World War I. According to the main spokesperson of the movement, André Breton, Surrealism was a means of reuniting conscious and unconscious realms of experience so that the world of dream and fantasy would be joined to everyday rational world in “an absolute reality, a surreality.” Drawing upon theories adapted from Sigmund Freud, Breton saw the unconscious state as the source of imagination.
The incorporation of Surrealism into photography was thought and an absurd act since both forms have contradictory principles. However, Surrealism turned out to be a breakthrough in photography, which motivated the photographers for more experiments.

Negative space is the space around the subject of an image. Negative space has the ability to bring a sense of balance to your image. Negative space is most noticeable when the space around a subject, and not the subject itself, forms an interesting or artistically appealing shape. It can strengthen composition, help draw the eye to the subject and give it more power, and it can add interest to your shot. Elements of an image that distract from the subject, or in the case of photography, objects in the same focal plane, are not considered negative space. Negative space can be used to depict a subject in a chosen medium by showing everything around the subject but not the subject itself. Most often negative space is used as a neutral or contrasting background to draw attention to the subject.

HDR stand for high dynamic range. It is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than standard digital imaging techniques or photographic methods. This allows HDR images to represent more accurately the range of intensity levels found in real scenes that range from direct sunlight to faint sunlight, and it is often capture by way of differently exposed pictures of the same subject matter.
HDR is a range of techniques that lean towards representing more contrast in pictures. Non-HDR cameras takes pictures at a single exposure level with a limited contrast range which results in the loss of detail in bright or dark areas of a picture. HDR compensates for this loss of detail by taking multiple pictures at different exposure levels and stitches them together so that we eventually arrive at a picture that is representative in both dark and bright areas.

Because of this project, I learned how to look for lines in photographs even if they may not seem obvious at first. I learned how to use lines to create dynamic photos and emphasize certain objects within the photograph. In the book photograph, the curved line of the words draws your eye to the middle, or spine, of the book. In other photographs, I used the natural lines of the objects to emphasize the contrast in color. In photos such as the keyboard photo, I displayed the natural curves of the keys to make them stand out.

Line Photography
Lines within images are very powerful elements that can add dynamic impact to a photograph in terms of mood and how they lure the image's viewer into a photo. The three types of lines that you can use in photography are horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines. Each one can have a different impact upon a photograph and should be looked for as you frame the shots. horizontal lines convey a message on stability or rest. Examples of these are horizons, fallen trees, oceans, sleeping people, etc. Horizontal lines can also act as a dividing point in a photograph. Vertical lines have the ability to convery a variety of different moods ranging from strength to growth. they help stimulate feelings of dignity, height, and grandeur. vertical lines can be found in buildings trees, fences, etc. lastly, diagonal lines work well to draw the eye of an image's viewer. They can create points of interest as they intersect with other lines and often give images depth by suggesting perspective. diagonal lines can give the photograph a feeling of force, motion, and energy. This can be found in trees bent by the wind, a runner at the starting line, or the slope of a mountain as it climbs into the sky.

Texture
In visual arts, texture is distinguished by its perceived visual and physical properties. The use of texture can convey a variety of messages and emotions. Physicaltexture is the actual variation upon a surface. This can include fur, wood grain, sand, smooth surface of canvas or metal, glass, and leather. It is different from visual texture because it has a physical quality that can be felt by touch. Visual texture is the illusion of having physical texture. Photography, drawings and paintings use visual texture to portray their subject matter realistically and to allow the viewer to interpret the piece. The texture in both art forms is generally created by the repetition of shape and line.

Trimal Project Drawing
Trimal Project Critique
Kaela’s trimal project showed careful skill in Photoshop. She executed her abilities to the maximum extent. She shows skillful representation of both animals, not only through the fusion of the animals but through the clever choice of background blending both water and land. She sagaciously altered the saturation of her face to match the hue of the wolves’ fur. She even achromatized the boundaries of her face to make it more versatile. She wittily placed the synthesized creature in the precise spot to give it the illusion that the wolf was trotting across the river. The only con I can see with this creative representation is the random outer glow that the wolf seems to emit. Also, the image is somewhat filmy but that does not take away from the overall effect of the artwork.

Silhouette
A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene consisting of the outline and a basically featureless interior, with the silhouetted object usually being black. The art form has been popular since the mid-18th century. Silhouette images may be created in any artistic media, but the tradition of cutting portraits from black card has continued into the 21st century.
Many photographers use the technique of photographing objects against light to create an image of a silhouette. The light can be natural, for example a sunset or an open doorway, or it can be created in a studio using low-key lighting.

Cubism
Cubism was created in the 20th century by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. It revolutionized European painting and sculpture. In cubist artwork, objects are broken up and then reassembled in abstract form. The artist depicts the subject from multiple viewpoints which provides a greater context. Most of the time, the surfaces intersect at seemingly random angles giving the illusion that there is no coherent sense of depth.
Possible Products
Commercial Photography
Commercial photography is photography in which the photography is paid for images of a product rather than a work of art. Examples of the different types of commercial photography are: for advertising, fashion and glamour, crime scene, still life, food photography, editorial photography, portrait and wedding photography, landscape photography, wildlife photography, and photos taken by the paparazzi. In short, money can be paid for the photographer to capture a certain subject. For example, wholesale, retail, and professional uses of photography would fall under commercial photography.
This type of photography is commonly used for an advertisement of some sort. Advertising agencies use photographs that are meant to illustrate and/or sell their service or product. Using commercial photography is a good way to present a new product through advertising because the advertisements can appear in magazines, pamphlets, newspapers, and on online websites.
